Methodology
Anderson Young Associates, Inc. ensures that every client (corporate or individual) receives the utmost attention. This is why we adhere to a specific process, which can then be modified to suit particular client needs. This methodology allows us to maintain a heightened level of organization, helping us to expeditiously unite the right employees with the right companies.
Our ten-step methodology is as follows:
Step One: Client Meeting
Whether we're working with a potential employee to find a position or working with a potential employer looking for the right person for the job – we want to meet with you and fully understand your specific needs, so we can provide the most effective search possible
Step Two: Contract Details
We explain the details of our search in an outline for you to read. Every aspect of the search is highlighted, including fees, terms, guarantees and expense reimbursement procedures.
Step Three: Search Team Selection
We provide a dedicated search team for your position. This team will be assembled based on how well their technical expertise matches your specific position requirements. Database networking and broadcast letters (when applicable) will be used to identify potential candidates.
Step Four: Position Specifications and Position Profile
We generate a position description that accurately explains the details of the available position. This document includes everything from working relationships and background requirements to compensation, relocation policy, benefits and corporate culture specifics.
The position profile informs candidates about your open position and company information. This includes the following information:
- Company history
- Corporate overview
- Mission statement
- Financial data
- Strategic plans
- Organizational charts
- Position history and objectives
- Community information
- Press file
Step Five: Search Strategy Execution and Pre-qualification
Based on results from database networking, broadcast letters and additional outbound communications, prospective candidates are identified and approached on the client's behalf.
Qualified candidates are personally interviewed by Anderson Young Associates, Inc. The interviews consist of the following evaluation factors:
- In-depth technical knowledge
- Career motivation
- Subjective performance factors
Candidate resumes, profiles and recommendations are sent to clients from our search selection team.
Step Six: Client Referrals and Post-Referral Conferences
Project Managers will coordinate all candidate/client meetings. Clients will be briefed on candidates prior to any meetings to ensure that an interview will be productive.
Following any candidate/client interview, we will contact the client to learn the interview outcome and status. This information will then be conveyed to the candidate, and we will assist the client in selecting finalists for the position. A closing strategy is then determined by Anderson Young and the client regarding the specific needs of both parties to move forward.
Step Seven: References
Comprehensive reference interviews will be conducted by our search team and turned into written evaluation reports. These will be delivered to the client for review by the search selection team.
Step Eight: Closing Strategy and Offer Letter
An Anderson Young team leader will establish a final verbal agreement by the candidate. This agreement will include the negotiation of compensation, relocation, benefits, start date, resignation and counter-offer preparation.
The final offer letter will then be generated by the client and Anderson Young Associates, Inc. will guide the candidate through the acceptance process.
Step Nine: Transition Process
Following the acceptance of the offer, all prior candidates will be notified via letter. These letters will include reference sources and the client's search selection team. A congratulatory letter will be sent to the candidate being hired.
Step Ten: Search Follow-up
Anderson Young Associates, Inc. will provide all necessary transition information and support to the candidate and the client.
